Vivation Professional Code of Ethics and Terms of Service with the Vivation Trademark

Vivation Teachers are committed to upholding the highest ethical standards in their practice and teaching of Vivation, ensuring the integrity of the Vivation trademark and the quality of the services provided to clients. As a Vivation Teacher, you agree to adhere to the following Code of Ethics and Terms of Service: 

  1. Client Autonomy: Empowering clients to achieve complete autonomy with the skill of Vivation, fostering their self-sufficiency and emotional well-being.
  2. Transparent Agreements: Establishing clear contracts with clients regarding the scope of services, number and duration of sessions, financial terms, and other relevant details. We will not make unrealistic or unsubstantiated claims about potential benefits.
  3. Confidentiality: Maintaining strict confidentiality of client information, records, and details of coaching sessions. We will secure all private client data and only share it with explicit permission.
  4. Professional Competence: Practicing strictly within our area of competence and expertise. We will make our qualifications, training, and credentials transparent to clients. If a client's needs are outside our scope, we will refer them to another qualified professional. If in doubt, refer out.
  5. No Inappropriate Physical Contact: As a Vivation Teacher, it is essential to avoid any inappropriate physical contact with clients. This includes refraining from behavior that could be perceived as sexual or romantic in nature and respecting clients' physical boundaries at all times. Teachers must also be mindful of clients' physical limitations or conditions and avoid any actions that could cause discomfort or pain. Practicing attunement and compassion is crucial to maintaining a safe, supportive, and respectful environment for clients to explore their emotions and experiences.
  6. Healthy Boundaries: Establishing and upholding appropriate professional boundaries with clients to ensure a safe and ethical working relationship based on mutual trust and respect. We will avoid any abuse of the power dynamics inherent in a coaching relationship, which includes dual relationships that could impair our professional judgment, all forms of sexual behavior or harassment with clients, regardless of whether the client initiates or invites such behavior.
  7. Supervision and Consultation: Regularly seeking supervision, consultation, and continuing education to improve our skills and benefit our clients. We remain committed to ongoing professional development.
  8. Continuing Development: Maintaining appropriate physical, mental, and emotional self-care to serve clients to the best of our ability. We strive for a sustainable balance between professional responsibilities and personal well-being.
  9. Professional Relationships: Fostering collaborative relationships with other Vivation professionals based on mutual support, respect, and non-competitiveness. We are committed to advancing the field of Vivation as a whole.
  10. Teaching Fidelity: Committing to teaching the Seven Basic Lessons as instructed by Vivation International, without adulterating the Vivation training with other modalities or practices.
  11. Trademark Integrity: Protecting the integrity, lineage, teaching methodology, and brand of Vivation. You agree to rigorously safeguard all confidential materials. Unauthorized copying, distribution, or misrepresentation under a different name is strictly prohibited.  Noncompliance may result in legal action and loss of teaching privileges (see Licensing Agreement).
  12. Ethical Accountability: Providing constructive feedback to other Vivation Teachers who may have violated one or more of these ethical principles. If the issue cannot be resolved, seek consultation with Vivation International and/or civil authorities within your region for the protection of clients involved. 

By adhering to this Code of Ethics and Terms of Service, you contribute to the preservation of the Vivation trademark, maintain the quality of the practice, and promote a safe, supportive, and respectful environment for clients and fellow professionals.
